What is Shashandoot?

Shashandoot is a digital platform being developed to make government rules, regulations, policies, circulars, GRs and official documents easier to find, understand and use.

Government information is spread across departments, websites, portals, PDFs, notifications and amendments. We aim to bring this fragmented information into a more organised, searchable and user-friendly platform, helping professionals and citizens move from “Where is the rule?” to “What does the rule mean for me?”

The problem we are solving

The problem is not simply a lack of government information. It is accessibility and usability. A professional may need to search several websites, browse hundreds of PDFs, trace amendments and interpret technical language before reaching an answer.

Our purpose

Where we are today

The current document library is a static preview with sample records. Explanations, source verification and guidance are part of the platform’s intended direction.

Shashandoot is an independent platform, not a government department or an official government portal. Original government sources remain authoritative; an explanation or search result should not be treated as an official decision.
