MSEDCL directs field teams to prioritise power restoration during drought

Free Press Journal reported on 1 October that MSEDCL has instructed field engineers, operators and line staff to remain at their headquarters unless permitted to leave. The utility has called for prompt repairs or alternative arrangements after outages, with particular attention to agricultural consumers. Senior officials have also reviewed network preparedness. These are operational directions; the report does not establish that every affected location already has uninterrupted supply.
