Maharashtra appoints committee to examine return of campus elections

The Indian Express reported on 25 September that Maharashtra had formed a 12-member committee chaired by former Mumbai University vice-chancellor Suhas Pednekar to examine student elections. The panel was asked to report within a month and consider inclusive representation, financial oversight and digital processes. Establishing the committee is a preparatory step, not a published polling schedule.
